My Favourite Photos of 2014

Are you ready to party?! I can’t believe we’re just hours away from 2015 already!

For me, 2014 was incredibly fast paced. While I didn’t meet all of the personal goals – catching up with friends in Melbourne this year has been near non-existent and I didn’t keep focused enough to progress much in studying French nor pick up that krav maga class I wanted to –  I did achieve some of my blog goals like travelling more, working with bigger brands (and as a brand ambassador!), and being a speaker at a travel trade event in Singapore.

Throughout the year I’ve been so very lucky to cultivate so many fantastic memories; some I captured on camera and some I just basked in the moment and enjoyed.

While I’m no pro photographer – I’ll leave that to friends like Dave from The Planet D or Alex from Virtual Wayfarer – I do love experimenting, whether it be for Instagram or for the blog. For this final post of 2014, I want to share with you some of my favourite photos of 2014, many of these are also my favourite stories that I’ll share here soon.

Beautiful photos. I am struck by the difference in sand colors between the Tasmania and Victoria beaches.

My personal favorites are the shots of the Lion Rock and the Fire Valley. It is like an escape to the wild of sorts.
