Sun Nien Fai Lok/Happy New Year from Hong Kong!

New Year on Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong

We made it! Another year is done and dusted and the dawn of the first day of a new year is dawning.

Regardless of how we ended 2013 don’t let that deter you from moulding the year into the year that you want it to be. Travel more, connect with old friends, become healthier, succeed at a hobby, or further you career – the slate is clean and the year is fresh, let’s make it awesome together!

Thinking about 2013, I’ve had plenty of time to reflect on what a wonderful year 2012 was. I met so many new people – both bloggers and friends, got over my fear of mountain biking and some-what conquered my fear of people, I’ve run away from Sir Richard Branson… twice!, reflected on lessons learnt from being a solo-traveller, and baby – I ran with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain!!! If that is what 2012 has bought I can’t wait to see what happens in 2013.

So here is a quick round-up of 2012 – all 53 flights, 12 countries, over 145,000 kilometres of travel, and just a few snap shots from throughout the year (and a sneak peek as to where I’ll be travelling during January 2013!)

I want to thank each and every one of you for helping make Bitten by the Travel Bug what it is.

This space is constantly growing and changing, it will never be perfect but these are real stories and has information that you have asked me to provide. I hope that I’ll be able to bring more stories and information to you in 2013 and can’t wait to connect with you on the blog or through Facebook or Twitter soon!

Happy New Year!!!
